For its “Beauty of Diversity” April issue, Allure cast the latest It-girl models: Dilone, Imaan Hammam (who also nabbed a spot on Vogue's model-filled March cover) and Aamito Lagum. Like the March issue of fellow Conde Nast publication Vogue, the ladies embraced beachside for the shoot, photographed by Patrick Demarchelier. In the accompanying cover story, Allure spoke with 41 women of color (including Meaghan Markle, Padma Lakshmi and Zazie Beetz) about their relationship with their skin.

And she makes everybody — down to the smallest person — feel important and at home and things like that. So this other persona that other people seem to have about her is … it’s wrong.”
