The rising fashion stars cover the 10th edition of Carine Roitfeld’s ‘CR Fashion Book.’

Paris Jackson and Halima Aden, the first Hijab-wearing model signed by IMG Models, can now add high-fashion magazine covers to their résumés: the rising fashion darlings both grace the covers of CR Fashion Book.

Jackson, who stepped out at the Grammy Awards in Balmain and Jeremy Scott, covers Carine Roitfeld's glossy in a bold blue Gucci gown, which she's not actually wearing, but rather holding up to cover herself. With her rock 'n' roll vibe, the Mario Sorrenti-lensed imagery of Jackson brings to mind a young Madonna in the '80s.

In her cover story, Jackson says all her inspiration comes from her dad, the late Michael Jackson.

“I would say 99 percent of my inspiration comes from him, because he has always been my world. He is my roots,” Jackson tells film and TV producer Lee Daniels, adding, “He was the strongest person I know and tried to do everything with as much love and kindness as possible.”

Aden is having quite the month, too. Not only did the 19-year-old model walk Kanye West's Yeezy Season 5 show during New York Fashion Week, but she's also joining Jackson as a CR Fashion Book cover star. Aden fronts the magazine in a midnight blue Louis Vuitton ensemble with her hijab, of course.

The Muslim model, who was interviewed by Iman and photographed by Sorrenti, discussed the pressures of being called a hero of sorts for her community.

“I wish I could tell them, 'Hey, I'm not a perfect Muslim.' A lot of people had a misconception that I would be the perfect poster child for Islam,” said Aden. “So I got a lot of Instagram comments like, 'Oh, you don’t have your neck covered, you’re not a Muslim!' My thing is, stop judging women, especially if you’re a man, because you don’t know the responsibility that comes with wearing a hijab.”

Don't be surprised if you start seeing these two on the fashion scene more often.
